| Racing since the age of 13, the 2001 season
was a whole new learning experience for Steve. Joining the White Motor Sports
Sprint Car Team as a driver in 2001 was a dream come true. Steve has been
associated with White Motor Sports for the past 9 years. Starting out racing
in karts in the Jr. Box Stock class and moving up through the ranks to the
senior divisions.
Steve has raced everything from Briggs Box Stock to 2 Cycle Open Unlimited class and in August of 2000 made his debut in a 410 sprint car at Sharon Speedway. Steve has 4 track championships to his credit in karting. Steve spent the 1999 & 2000 season pitting for Paul White, Jr. Steve learned a lot from Paul White, Jr. who has 5 years experience in 410 sprints and feels they both benefited from having a 2 car team and sharing information. |

| Steve took the 2002 season off from racing to concentrate on
building his business. Steve owns a company that manufactures billet
aluminum sprint and midget shifters. He also has some other racing items
in development. In 2003 Steve decided to make the switch to a asphalt
sprinter and made his debut on July 5th, 2003 at Lake Erie Speedway in
North East, PA. Steve runs with the WSoA (Winged Sprints on Asphalt) and
plans to return in 2004. The crew is currently working on totally
rebuilding the car including new body work and paint.
Steve is a senior at Penn College in Williamsport, PA where he will graduate with a degree in Manufacturing/Engineering. When he's not behind the wheel, Steve can be found either in the race shop or on the computer designing new parts. We feel that Desire, Drive and Determination will make Steve very successful in sprint cars. Make sure to stop by our pits and say hello. We always enjoy meeting new people. |
